Hi all..!
Embedded dronacharya team is warming its engine to plunge
into a long term research for the production of micro controller based single
board computer (uC SBC). Though this may seemingly be impossible against the
very first valid point that MCUs cannot support multitasking, still let’s try
out this research.
The main reason for Embedded Dronacharya to start such a
peculiar research against the very first basic law of MCUs, is that by this
research, the participants of the research will possibly learn to use the
fullest potential of a micro controller.
This way, we may probably squeeze our
minds to add complexity at the firmware level and if necessary at the hardware
level and come out with a sort of computer like device (at least).
To tell about the research, it’s actually an OPEN RESEARCH,
where the contributors will contribute to the firmware and hardware of a part
of the uC SBC.
To start with, let us go ahead with PIC or AVR or Atmel ARM
micro controllers. Please start mailing me your contribution to
embedded.dronacharya@gmail.com
.
Here are the parts that a basic computer should have. Please
send me the hardware designs and firmware for these segments of our uC SBC.

Remember please do not visualize the end product of this
open research as a fully fledged computer, as it involves a very very complex
design. But let us have a vision of creating a device very close in performance
to a computer.
